This clock sits on a a DOUBLE BASE made of Cherry lumber. The veneers that make up the design in this striking piece are:

• A very very dark brown outer piece made of Wenge Veneer.
• The next piece in, towards center, is Cherry
• The next one is Maple
• and lastly, the center piece is made of Figured Bubinga Veneer.

  The clock has an opening in the back to allow for time setting and for changing the battery.
